Information-centric Networking (ICN) is a new networking paradigm that aims to solve the problem of traditional TCP/IP-based Internet. Content-centric (CCN) and Named Data (NDN), both based on Interest/Data communication paradigm, are two most well-known specialized implementations ICN. In contrast typical networks, NDN enables intrinsic security, which ensures data security rather than channel security.
